As an installation and mixed media artist, I use assemblage, tailoring and metalwork techniques to form layers of meaning in each piece.
I collect and combine fragments and objects as a form of sense-making, connection to memory and emotional research.
By elevating lost or forgotten things I seek to form a symbiotic voice to speak in partnership with the things we overlook and discard.
My work is informed by a previous career in environmental sustainability and mental health advocacy. Recurrent use of decayed items and defiled table linens signals a desire to uncover authentic truths that make way for the unvarnished self.
I’m committed to supporting the next generation of leaders to access their confidence, empathy, creative thinking and problem solving skills through creative making with peers of all ages and experience.
